Boo: Why should people who don't believe in evil war leave their countries of birth?

I wish the safe return of all soldiers sent - after all they were sent and didn't choose the war.

Little hope for humanity with so many body snatchers present and yes I did serve time in the army .

gremling: I thank you for your detailed response. I am English but what you say holds true in essence. My problem is that terrorism has become an abstract term to justify evil . Don't get me wrong, all murder is evil, but how many more innocent people must die in this war?

How can anybody support the devastation that has been cast upon a nation? The first war was legal and made sense, but Mr Bush senior turned back the French and failed the Shiates when they arose against Sadam. Don't people feel for the Iraqis and the soldiers sent to die?

Why would I want to live in Iraq? I am not a male Muslim so living in a place that would consider me a third class citizen and expendable, does not impress me.

Why don't defenders of Bill and Hilary Clinton move to Arkansas? Is it because they won't have people to listen to them whine? Why did Sandy Berger stuff documents down his pants at the National Archives when removing them illegally to protect Bill? Why doesn't the Democratic Congress indict HIM? Why doesn't Hillary quit Congress if she's running for President? She can't stock two shelves. She just took the job for a springboard to the Presidency, not because she "cares" for New yorkers. Anyone who believes THAT, obviously votes Liberal and Democrat all the time.
Bush made mistakes. So did Clinton. There is rarely a president alive ( or dead ) that doesn't get roasted by the press, or events. Ronald Reagan was good at avoiding consequences, hence the name Teflon President. At least he made a majority of the right decisions. Bush, well, he's no Reagan. And Bill wasted alot of his presidency in scandal. Name ONE thing that stands out that Clinton accomplished. Can you recall a big event or act that he signed? Hmm?
Oh, why don't YOU go ask the Kurds or Shiites if they want Saddam back. It's not Bush's fault the back-stabbing fanatics can't live with each other over there. Yes, again, America underestimated the power of freedom to cure ills. We believe they all want what we have. But they don't KNOW what we have, so they can't understand it until it's practiced awhile. And that will take time. The wars by religious nuts has been going on for CENTURIES in the Middle East, no one country or liberating action will cure any of that. It was misguided of the Republican Gov't to think it would be all rosy and warm milk, but it is foolish to sit around and wait for 9/11 to happen, as well. If we're going to take shots, lets give some back.

Your question doesn't make much sense but I have never defended either Bush or Blair and I don't plan on moving to Iraq in the future.

Doesn't it really make more sense that if one doesn't defend Bush's and Blair's policy of trying to rid the world of a psychotic bunch of murdering thugs that is they who would immigrate to Iraq?
Is that not why terrorists are trying to infiltrate the country?

Hmmm...Well since I'm a defender of both Bush AND Blair, I joined the military and went to Iraq....so I guess you can say I emigrated there for a while. So your question is pointless.

Oh and I'm still sitting pretty. ;-)

Actually, shouldn't people who support Bush live in the same country as him?
That's like saying, shouldn't someone who likes mountains move to south Florida?

And when are you going to serve your country? You know to serve is not only a military thing, you have a big mouth why don't you use your hot air to run for something.

Right now, YA is in need of a lot of improvement. Even so, your nonsense question indicates that when you post here, you are waaaaaaaaaay out of your league. Why don't you stay in school and leave politics to the grownups for a few more years?

Wouldn't it make more sense for the people who DON'T like Bush to move to another country?
