I have no idea. Maybe keep the other one open and rest a little while the other one practices and gets up to speed.
Good thing about doing that is you only have to do it for half the time. One eye gets faster while the other eye gets lazy and slows down a bit. That way, they'll be at the same speed in no time. Just don't overdo it and reverse the same problem. That's how serious muscle sprains happen.

Why does it matter if your eyes blink at the same time? If it gets worse go to the eye doctor.

Yes of course they do because it is natural. If one is behind another, there is nothing to worry about. I can blink with one or the other. Easy!
