My dad was killed on the shoulder of the road while changing a flat tire by a drunk driver. : (

I've pulled over and helped change tires a good dozen times since I got my license in 1982...

My favorite was 2 grandmotherly types... they were so sweet, and tried to slip me $40. I gave it back and had great Karma for several months.
