I have heard many people refer to the days with John Beliushi as "the good old days"... but then you will find people who think I was definately the Mike Myers era.... People either love or hate the current cast....
what is YOUR opinion. I would be interested to know.

I do like the current people, because they have made the best SNL shorts ever! Lazy sunday is a classic now.

But old SNL cast was good too, now they've made it to the big screens with movies and stuff like that.

My personal favorite episodes are from roughly 86 to 96... Chris Farley, David Spade, Kevin Nealon, Mike Myers, Dana Carvey, Phil Hartman, etc. However I've also enjoyed some sketches involving more recent cast members like Will Ferrell, Molly Shannon, and Chris Parnell, and, at times, Weekend Update.

The original cast (Beliushi, Aykroyd, Chase, Morris, Newman, Curtain, and especially GILDA RADNER) was simply the best.

The Eddie Murphy years then the Dana Carvey/Phil Hartman era were also good, but not as good as the above.

This season has been painful but I hope tonight's show with Zach Braff ends on a better note.

I'm gonna have to go with the 80's. That was a decade of funny now a days it just plain sucks. Though I do like the news segment still.
