If its your best friend just tell him. Get him alone like walking around the block or something and ask him if he's ever thought about you as more than just friends.With that question you will know if he has felt the same or not and it should be easier to tell him that you like him more than just best friends.

Wait a minute... do you really WANT to tell him??? Answer these questions first:
Are you currently in a relationship?
Do you still have feelings for an ex?
Is he in a relationship?
Does he still have feelings for an ex?
If, and only if, you answered NO to all four questions, then go ahead and tell him how you feel. Just casually bring it up sometime. If you answered yes to any of the questions, then don't tell him that you like him as more than a friend. For example, if you tell him that you like him, and he feels the same way, what would happen if you two got together, and it didn't work out? Your friendship could possibly be ruined!

My dear, yes sometimes is not that easy to say it out, to a man, but if you real know this person and you have been friends for some times you know how he handle things. Call him to accompany you out perhaps for tea or something like that. when you are two just tell him how are your feelings are like towards him. in short how much you love him. If he is a real man he will understand and give you a chance over it.

oo thats tricky.
i;ve liked a lot of my best friends,
and half of the time it has worked out.
first you want to drop little hints,
like flirting, "do you think im pretty?",
joking by saying stuff like "hey hottie", etc.
see how he reacts to this.
if he is a little uncomfortable and avoids stuff like this, i think that he might get the hint you like him and he isnt interested.
if he goes along with it for a little while,
ask him on the phone or over instant messenger if he likes you likes you.
if he asks why say "i just maybe might like you like you"
if he says no, dont let it get to you, just act normal as if nothing happened [i know it seems impossible, but its easy, i;ve done it before!] and if he says yes, you guys decide what does on from there!

well find out if he likes anyone.. or if he has a gf if he dosnt thn tell him but if he does trust me its better u get over it cuz otherwise ur gona lose ur best friend well mabey not lose him but u guys wont be as close naymore..

Don't tell him unless you're ready for rejection.
If he doesn't feel the same what and you tell him,
he'll probably draw away from you and it would be
somewhat awkward.

just tell him the truth. let him know. just go up him and say:
can we talk. and when he said yes. you look in straight in the face and tell him.
