Powell was the only one with any dignity. He saw the lies, tried to change them and when that failed, he tendered his resignation. He knew that he was in bed with fleas and he got the hell out. What did Bush do? Tries to discredit Powell and make him look bad.

Powell has more intellect in a strand of underarm hair than Bush has in his entire head.

Humpty Dumpty!! But my friend!!!!! The short answer is that WE, a network of radical hawks, supported by right-wing Israeli circles, were able to seize a particular historical moment to impose our interventionist agenda. We have prepared decades for this...and we are stuck.

We, the neocons, achieved power in 2000 and we were faced with the task of transforming our dreams into realities. Two dimensions were of vital interest. These were to establish a viable security structure for the region and to reshape the Middle East. Had matters in Iraq gone as we expected, that country would have become the foundation of America's security structure in the region. But we were wrong, I guess.
..somehow I have to read your questions several times since I always seem to forget what you write.

And stay strong my friend because I need your support...I am very stubborn but even I need backing!

Short Bus, it's not "Bush's war," it's America's war.
How can you break something that is already broken? We "owned it" immediately following the events of 9/11 - we should have "owned it" much sooner. Why we waited for an inevitable attack of such magnitude on our own soil is beyond me.

Bush's war on Terror??? huh?

That's funny...sounds like don't acknowledge it Islamic Fascism.

We didn't bring the war to them...they brought it to us.
We would be in the middle east at one point. If not Iraq now then at some other point in History.

Middle East is the most irrational piece of dirt in the world.
Don't take my word for it....I'm not a Far-Left Liberal.
Far-Left Liberals don't want you to see for yourself. They want you to be in lock step with their beliefs.

See for yourself. I am not afraid for you to search the truth for yourself.
