How did you conclude this? Did you do a scientific research into whether all hippos eat chocolates? You really need to be specific when you make generalised statement like the one you have made. It is dangerous and makes you look stupid when in fact you were just bored with your time and decided to post anything that came to your mind!

Chocolate contains numerous psychoactive products (only in very small quantities) and this includes chemicals that act as substitutes for progesterone which is a female hormone. Lack of progesterone can cause a withdrawal effect and eating chocolate during menstruation case relief from this effect especially.
In regards to average size in the UK, it is because the general diet and level of excise in the UK is extremely (second worst for calorie and fat intake and level of exercise in the world). In many European nations anything above a UK size 14 is commonly not available to purchase in most stores and is very unhealthy leading to heart problems respiratory problems and many other serious illnesses and size 16 is obese especially amongst anyone under 40. Obesity related illness is one of the greatest burdens on the NHS in the UK and amongst along with alcohol is a growing health problem in the UK.
Chocolate however is not the main culprit for this however.

And jerky comments like this make the people who make them look like.... oh, nevermind, no sense typing it if it's just gonna get censored out anyway.
As for why we like chocolate, everyone has something that they like to indulge in foodwise, and it's not just women who like chocolate. (And if you were to look at the health and dietary issues of overweight women, you would probably find that chocolate is not the problem, but then again, that would take the effort of opening your eyes and actually considering options other than what you have come up with yourself.)
So, in conclusion, chocolate (especially dark chocolate) is high in antioxidants, and there are much worse things that we could be treating ourselves with.

chocolate releases endorfins in the body that is like having an orgasm! doh, no wonder women like it, and if ur woman is eating alot of it maybe ur lacking at summot...lol...only joking!
it aint choc that makes women look like hippos (having said that i havent met a women yet that looks like a hippo) its over eating and a lack of fitness that does that, also women can be fuller figure if there genetic make-up is prone to that (ie, if a womans parents are fuller figure then she probably will be too) also if ur thyroid gland isnt working properly it dont matter if u live off salads and go to the gym 50 times a week, everything you eat will be stored as fat and not get burned off like it should.
bit of an offensive question to "fuller figured" women, but dont you know that the uk average size for a woman is a dress size 16? if you ask me, nowerdays its considered abnormal if ur not a size 14-16, and my personal opinion is that most curvy (not obese) woman look much healthier and much more attractive than a stick thin woman.... its all down to personal taste, i like to see curves on a woman, they dont call um hips for nothing! they r meant to curve not go strait down lol

Well for your information, I eat chocolate when I get a craving due to my hormones messing me around when I am coming on my period. I have just turned 40 last week, and have the body of a 21 year old FACT. Were not all greedy fat slobs. Oh and by the way, I am a mother of 4.
