Laptop speakers?

My laptop's right side speaker wont work. How do i fix it?

First make sure its the speaker and not the audio or settings. Play a file in windows media, check that the ballance is centered, not to one side. Try a different file, now you narro down its not the file. Then try another player, now youve narrowed down if its not the player. Then plug in external speakers or earphones, now youve isolated whether its the speaker or the sound card. If the card, reload the drivers. If the speaker, either use earphones, or pay someone to replace the speaker, hopefully you have a warranty
