No, but they think they can fool us into believing that amnesty really isn't amnesty.

The socialists do not care what AMericans want, they want the 12 million possible votes, and it appears there are some repubs in the senate with the same plan.

Careerists in congress sold out our country a long time ago, and we will never get them to vote for term limits, that combined with the socialist takeover of the democrats will be the primary cause of the next revolution or civil war, but it will not be very civil.

Congress has spent way too much time in the closet. And not enough time asking their constituents what they want.

When you ask around people agree on front door legal immigration. Foreigners apply if they meet a set standard they are welcome.

This $5000 fine go home and come back makes less sense than a RLP question.

The fine will only make poor people bigger criminals. Fine their employer the $5K if want to dance with the worker let them pay the fiddler.

Most politicians are playing us.

If there were only 12 million spanish speaking illegals, why is it that businesses find it necessary to offer spanish options? That would be 4% of the population which does not seem to be large enough to warrant the expense to me.

The latest Gallop pole shows President Bush with a 32% approval rating - and it further shows Congress with a 29% approval rating.
Perhaps our representatives have forgotten just who they represent.
Americans are fed up with this sell out - let's hope the next elections give the incumbents a reason to start brushing up on their resumes.

The politicians don't care what the American people believe. Our system of Gov't has failed.......... miserably, thats apparent when so many are here & the mood in Washington toward them is utter non-chalance Whats the alternative ? Beats me, but I sure am sick & tired of paying taxes to support them.

No, I think they're quite sure the majority of Americans don't want that. But they know this is good for big business.
They're ignoring what the American people want.

No. They even let La Razza sit in on the Immigration Bill negotiations and gave them 'veto' right on proposed items, if they did not approve it, it did not go in the bill. It makes me sick, disgusted, and madder than hell that illegal immigrants have more say in our government than the American Citizens.
