Two individuals proceeded towards the apex of a natural geologic protuberance. The purpose of their expedition being the procurement of a sample of fluid hydride of oxygen in a large vessel, the exact size of which was unspecified. One member of the team precipitously descended, sustaining severe damage to the upper cranial portion of his anatomical

Two people climbed to the top of a mountain. They wanted some water that was in a big container. They weren't sure how big it was. (a well) One guy fell and hurt his head. They other guy went down also.

Allusion to Jack and Jill.

Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water.
Jack fell down and broke his crown and Jill came tumbling after

Funny, 'crown' would not be a plain english word, now would it? It would be more like 'Jack fell down and busted his head'!

I agree with the 3rd answer. Technically it's "jack fell down and broke his crown" as apposed to "jack came down." Aloha, micky9fingers
