I think Old is a positive term which should be associated with wisdom. Old at heart could be a really good term.

Don't know, am 66, haven't hit it yet, can run circles around most 20 year olds...I will let you know when I feel old. Good luck. I suspect that most of us feel as if we are about 18 inside, the body tells us we are 98 when we get out of bed, but by 10 AM, we are back to about 28...such is life. We live it upside down. We should have the wisdom we have at this age at 18, and let it ebb as we age..that way, I would be a kid today...much more fun...oh, wait...I am a kid, I forgot. What were we talking about? Oh, yea...lunch. no, make that dinner..or is it breakfast. hell, who cares.

Based on the three score years plus ten that people are supposed to live for:-
new born to 23 is young
24 to 46 is middle aged
47 onwards is old
Sensibly I suppose you could say 60 because that's when old age benefits (free bus travel etc) seem to kick in.

I don't think there's a specific age, by any means. When I was six, I thought someone 30 was old. Now that I'm in my 50s, I'm not sure that ANYBODY is old, unless they choose to be :-)

Old is not an age but a frame of mind.

The first time you look in a mirror and think," I look old". Don't call anyone old because a lot of people may look old but don't think or behave old, and don't consider old as being a factor in their life.

I think that is a personal thing. I don't think anyone has a right to call anyone else old. You are old if you feel old... You know what I mean? If I was 70 and FELT young... noone is allowed to tell me otherwise!

If you are 10 then 16 seems old and if you are 50 then 55 doesn't seem old.. get it.. it's your age that puts it into prospective
