Sorry to inform you of this if you were unaware, but most of the lingo is just on the come back and the acronyms (lol, AYT, B4, BRB, IMO, IMHO, etc) are a form of short hand I learned in the 9th grade, expanded mind you but close.
I'm 5 yrs shrt of 60.

Well....I'll tell ya.
I'm considered a pretty cool kinda gal by the teenagers in my neighborhood. I'm told I look younger than I am. Almost all the guys I date are younger than me. But here, online..these damn Cyber Abbreviations drive me absolutely nuts.

My husband and I are surrounded by teenagers for almost ten hours everyday; he's a math tutor, you see, and offers private lessons at home. So, we haven't lost contact with them. But this site keeps me generally vivid and in touch with english language.
