If I could have knowledge of what happened to me since 1970:

I'd go back to the age of eight and launch a three-year campaign to go to the comprehensive ALL my friends attended, while I was left to go to the one in which I was bullied for two years, where I didn't like the teachers, and where I was never encouraged except by two teachers in the Second Form.

I'd become a Christian at least ten years earlier (15 instead of 25), making my life now so much easier

I'd tell my mother (she died in 1992) how beautiful her singing voice was (it truly was of operatic quality, even though untrained). Instead, at the age of ten I stopped her from singing because I repeatedly told her how awful her singing voice was: as a result, she never sang properly again.

I would refuse to believe my father, who repeatedly told me 'You don't think!' This to a boy of 9 who was asking questions about politics and the economy. He destroyed my confidence, as I had my mother's.

But despite it all, I know the Lord Jesus Christ will restore the years the locust has destroyed: or, as one 17-year-old said who had suffered far worse than I, 'God is fair: and He's got all eternity to make it up to me!'
Amen!

Would have realized the importance of people-relationships... ... i.e. "How to deal with people", would have read far more self-help books about the best way to deal with people....such as the book "Boundaries" by Henry Cloud. Success and happiness in every area of life has a lot more to do with relationships with people than I realized.
Would have begun investing more money in index funds/mutual funds at a much earlier age.
Would have never have bought a new car, because I lost so much money in the first couple of years on depreciation.
Would have gotten into a better-paying career/job.
Would have started my own part-time business.

My family. Seriously, I would change the way the past made me almost into a cripple. I would rise above the occasion and overcome it so I could have some peace in my life.

I was really shy through high school and college. I'd be more outgoing, and I'd take better care of myself physically. I've been overweight most of my life, and I would definitely be better about myself. I've been losing weight now, but I'm in my 30's and this would have been much easier if I'd done it when I was younger, or better yet, not gained all the weight to begin with.....the fast food, pop, and sweets were definitely not worth it!

Too many things to list.
But for sure I would not have gotten married at a young age.
I would have went after the love of my life.
