I broke up a Tarot deck and bought small frames for the cards. I then wrote a message on the back of the card and, like "For Kate," on the front of the card I matched to the Character. I put them on dressing tables before the cast came in.
My Stage Manager got the Magus.

i think you can give them oil painting from their photo means turn their photo in oil painting it will create nice impression on them.

Don't do key chains. My teacher did that for Singin' in the rain, but she couldn't find us umbrellas, lamposts or even rain drop ones. Instead she bought us leprechaun ducks holding pots of gold.
I like the Hershey's Kisses idea.

find something with Shakespeare on it.... cute and funny! i know at one time you could order candy from statford upon avon. or something with cole porter on it.
