To make it look nice for Sunday! When you work Mon.-Fri., you don't feel like cutting grass when you get home. So Saturday is the day to cut.

this is a day where everyone is off of work. they have the whole day to do pretty much nothing. if u went to work mon-fri. when would u cut your lawn?

Most people do not want to "work" when they get home from work. I am assuming you cut your grass during the week so they don't want yours to look better.

because they gotta work all week & are too tired to cut it when they get home
