It's a technique called the egg beater. It's really hard to explain, but you move your legs in a circular motion at different times. Like how two egg beaters are spinning together, but hey don't hit each other... Your arms do the same motion. That probably doesn't make much sense, but it's very effective.

Orbit is right, egg beater is the most effiicent kick with the least amount nof energy loss. Just make sure you are relaxed and not panicing or trying hard. Think slow and low and you will survive!

like u're sitting in a chair, and kick u're legs kinda like a frog, and skull water with u're hands. u kinda have to see what wrks best for u.

actaully the best way is to do the breast stroke kick, and move your arms out, and back in! It works

Move your legs as if u are riding a bike.
