They make such outstandingly dumb points, that just demonstrate a HUGE lack of common sense!

Lol - sorry but that is quite funny. Jinx, who answered the question first, was actually my inspiration for this question due to her answer to one of my other questions. How ironic....

You have to start with the questions first. The really stupid ones should be eliminated as there is no way they can generate a sensible response. The more serious sensible questions again should be answered in a similar manner. If you don't have a sensible reply then don't answer that question. If you do consider that your experience ,knowledge or views could assist the asker then respond fully.Don't just say yes.Expound why the answer is yes. Minimum size of a reply about 50 or 60 letters.

I find it really interesting that there are so many people on Y!A who complain about the lack of common sense in others' points of view. Since it's unlikely that all of the people complaining about this have the same points of view as the others, what does that tell us? It tells us that the only thing the people getting frustrated have in common is that they have no tolerance for viewpoints other than their own. Sad.

The lack of common sense doesn't bother me as much as the lack of acceptance of others. I've never seen such a collection of sexist, racist, religious bigots in my life. I expected to see homophobes and political baiting. I never thought I would see questions about the smell of "colored girls" or "letting" a wife work. I guess it's showing me the extent of my own intolerance.

I am losing more and more interest as time goes on. There is a difference between asking funny questions and just down right simple and idiotic questions that make no sense whatsoever.

I enjoy a good question but then again, I go to P&S as a way to get a break from the real world - recharge the batteries, as it were.

I do get frustrated sometimes...but then I remember that we live in a democracy...and maybe it's the guy who thought up democracies that we ought to hunt down and kill???
