someone brutally murders everyone in your family. they are captured and put in jail. the judge leaves it up to you to punish them, what would you do?

this is a very hard question.based on my religion i cannot kill,and if i do not forgive him my father in heaven will not forgive me,but if he brutally murders my 4 children can i remain strong in my Faith or will i kill this man myself??i pray to God my Faith is never tested in this manner I may fail the test.

I'd have them tortured to the point of death, only to save their life and torture them again. I'd let other crime victims family members pick the punishment. Kind of like a "torture of the month" lottery.
Cover him with honey and put him in the hot sun for the ants to enjoy...
Shoot him in the kneecaps but don't let him bleed to death..just almost.
Cut his toes off one by one...
You get the idea.

The rest of their lives in jail. I wouldnt even wish for the death penalty. I would want them to suffer in jail for the remainder of their life.

the rest of his whole life in prison he can't talk to any one and get only 1 meal a day. but why should i kill his family to wrongs don't make a right so that is why i chooice for him or her to spend the rest of their life in prison alone until they go crazy
