I already have tried opening it in My Computer and pressing eject. I also cleaned the inside of the tower with air and it won't do anything. I am sure there is a simple answer but it is not coming to me and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It's a Dell and I already went to the website and found no answers as of yet.

It sounds like you may need a new optical drive.

If there is something in there you want to get out, then usually there is a small hole in the front where you can push a piece of wire (paper clips work well) that will release the tray lock.

Have you tried rebooting? This usually solves the problem instantly. If still no joy, there is a small hole usually under the flap that allows it to open by inserting a long thin object such as a needle. But try rebooting first as that has always solved the problem for me.

I had one do that to me and nothing I tried helped until I checked the cable. I wiggled and firmly pressed in on both ends and it started working. Don't know if it will help in your situation, but it's worth a try.
