i think that when clemens and phil hughes come back...yankees will have a solid pitiching rotation...Clemens, Petitte, wang, moose, hughes.
this will give the pullpen a little rest as most of these guys can take the game in the 6/7 inning...what do you guys think?
this will def. help yankees prgress ...and do good...i still think its toooo early to crown red sox the AL est champs

hahahahaha no...clemens isnt gonna save the whole rotation and on tpo of that the rest of the rotation/pen has been pretty much sh*t upon for a multi-100 million dollar franchise
the sox are gonan be the east champs even though it may be too early to say but its inevitable

The Yankees will still have trouble making up this large deficit even with Clemens and Hughes coming back. However, they will probably make up some of it with one of the best pitching staffs in baseball and will make it close in the end. I am not ready to hand the division to a team that came in third last year, 11 games behind the Yankees.

I am a Red Sox fan and agree it is too early to crown them champions. However, your pitching rotation is NOT that good. Pettite is doing poorly, "Moose" is struggling, and Clemens will be more of an albatross than a help. Sorry, but look forward to 2009 when the Yankees will be into their rebuilding program.

Chow!!

The problem really isn't the rotation. If u actually watch a Yankee game, they can't hit ****. Posada, Jeter, A - Rod, and Matsui r the only ones that can hit a little. Abreu sucks, Cano sucks, Damon sucks. I think Clemens and Hughes comin back wouldn't hurt though.

The only ones who have crowned the Sox as AL east champs are the retards that can't remember last year or all the other times that the Sox looked great in May only to watch their team fold time after time in Aug and Sept. It makes me laugh.

Pettitte, Mussina, and Wang are not doing well so why would that change when Clemens gets back? The pitchers do good and the hitters slump, the hitters do good and the pitchers slump, thats the problem that needs to be solved and Clemens cant solve it.
