I grew one from a seed when i was a teen (couple of decades ago) biggest thing to remember, is it is a tree. it normally grows in tropical or warm climates, so it will have to come in when temps go down. Also I learned it likes good dirt, lots of food, and keep it pest free with baths and hand cleanings. mites like them in winter when they come in, and that can kill them. Minelived many years, even when i left it in my folks restaurant window and they hardly cared for it, but it did stop growing, just held on. They rarly grow to bear fruit though, so it will be ornamental, though I have heard of those in Florida who have had potted ones bear fruit, it was not alot and not tasty. Hope you have a great day!

They will grow but, bearing fruit will take about ten years if at all. Most orange trees are grafted plants to a root stock.
