hi i am 3 days late in taking my next pack of pills after my 7 day break, meaning i had a 11 days break. i also had sex in the break, is there a chance im pregnant. also as iv started the new pack on a different day of the week, will this mateer?

if you dont want to be pregnant i would advise that you go to your local dr or family planning centre and talk to someone about emergancy contraceptive (ie morning after pill) if your planning on having sex again in the next few weeks i would advise you use protection, usually when you have a small lapse in taking the pill ur body is covered as the effects of the pill you have been taking are still in the body, but never say never!, so to be safe id deffo reccomend that you see someone and get some emergancy contraceptive... next time try not forget to take ur pill, or ask ur dr about going on another pill, the injection every 3 months is ok, or have the implant in ur arm that lasts for 3-5 years! and you wont forget to take it as its put under the skin in ur arm and thats it!

Take your next pill now and use a barrier method of contraception for seven days(7 day rule)
The science behind this is that is takes seven days to turn the normal cycle back on when you stop taking the pill,
and seven consecutive days of taking it again to turn your cycle back off.

Are you by any chance sneakily trying to get pregnant, continue to ignore the pill instructions, and if you are not pregnant this time you will soon succeed.
If you are not keen to become a parent, assuming you are not currently pregnant, either take your pill as directed in future, or switch to an alternative method of contraception that does not involve you relying on your dubious memory.

unlikely if you took the pills corectly before your break, if you have had sex since missing them then yes theres a chance. it wont matter as long as you dont forget to take anymore or you will be at high risk for getting pregnant, to be honest a lot of people i know have fallen pregnant on this pill so be careful.

this is the most EXCELLENT way to get pregnant for someone who uses the pill. you NEVER NEVER want to miss the first pill in a new pack or take it late. i would take a test weekly during this month. talk to your doctor about a new birth control method if you cant be reliable with your pill.

chances are you could be pregnant, you have to wait until you come on next... that is if you do..
You need to take your next pack on time... at all times or use contraceptives of abstain for 7 days.

No it wont matter that you have strted on a different day.. I dont think you are pregnant but if in doubt take a test.
