The reason people booed him was not that he sucks, or the fact that Cleveland spent next years pick. It was the fact that the media built him up so much in the Heisman race, and he was not able to live up to the hype. Brady Quinn shows promising talent yet it seems to have been over shadowed by a team that lack a proper defense and the inability to close a game. college games are so unpredictable due to rivalry factors. Even, when u have a team that sucks play a good team it evens out when they are rivals. Brady Quinn needs to silence his critics and go out and play.

Brady Quinn is simply a byproduct of coach Charlie Weiss' system. When Ty Willingham was coach for the Fighting Irish, Quinn was just an average college QB. But because Weiss' system is more NFL orientated, Quinn excelled and thus raised the eyes of the NFL scouts. In reality however, Quinn suffered crushing defeats when the games counted the most. Such as any game against the Trojans, although he should have one the game two years, thank you Reggie Bush. Futhermore, NO bowl victories to his credit and like most believe, he fattened his stats against the lesser schools. All in all, I firmly believe his success is in large part because of Coach Weiss and also because he is an approachable athlete with a decent head on his shoulders.

He is a pretty boy and has a bad attitude. He THINKS he is the best and needs knocked down a peg. No he doesn't have a bad attitude like Bonds. Bonds just knew how good he was and didn't like the Media so the Media made him worse then he was and constantly bugged him to get the results they wanted. Anyway Quinn was never there in big games and basically lost the big games. He NEVER WON A BOWL GAME. He rarely won in against top 10 teams. He NEVER BEAT USC. He is OVERRATED. People who "hate" him are probably people like me who are trying to point out the truth to those of you with a Man-Crush on him.

This is all an opinion of mine but
1.People dont like him for the browns because they dont think his arm is strong enough and he choked in the championship game. He does play for notre dame and you either like them or hate them you know how it is.
2.remember how the browns got him they traded thier 1st round pick next year for him basically so maybe that would be why they booed him

He is very overrated. He looked terrible against top teams and all he will see in the NFL are elite players. Just because Notre Dame won the Commander-in-Chief trophy last year for beating all the military schools, doesn't mean they were a good team.

Because he is overrated. He fattened up his stats on Notre Dame's cupcake schedule (Army Navy and Air Force)
and the when it comes time to play with the big boys in a Bowl Game he looks like crap.
Just another over-hyped Golden Dumber (yes I know phrase is Golden Dome I was using poetic license)

I don't think that he was booed at the draft. Actually, he was given a standing ovation when he finally got drafted.
I really don't think that people don't like him. He is a decent QB, a bit overrated, but he will be a solid pro.

Because people love to hate Notre Dame. No team will ever have the history that Notre Dame does.

People just like to have somebody to hate and have, for whatever reasons, decided to hate him. I probably pick on the Domer QB failures as much as anyone else, then I remember Joe Montana and feel guilty.
