Well some people managed to get it wrong but those with the answer of £15.84 are correct. A slight variation to the working out could be:
£121.44 divided by 46 equals £2.64. If she works 4 hours overtime at time-and-a-half she would receive 6 hours extra pay (4 x 1.5). 6 x 2.64 = £15.84.

I agree with many of the respondents. £15.84
the hourly rate is her basic pay divided by he hours worked ; 121.44/46 = £2.64
If the rate is £2,65 then the overtime rate is 2.64 x 1.5 = £3.96 which for 4 hours is 3.9 X 4 = £15.84. Please let me now if you need any further tuition. I have a degree in Mathematics at the Open University. Best of luck in the future. Chris.

Amount earned per basic hour = £121.44 / 46 = £2.64
1 overtime hour = £2.64 x 1.5 = £3.96
4 overtime hours = £3.96 x 4 = £15.84

in a basic week, the shop assistant earns 2.64 per hour (121.44 / 46).
overtime per hour: 2.64 * 1.5 = 3.96
in a week, the shop assistant works 4 hours of overtime, therefore (3.96 * 4 = 15.84) she earn 15.84 in overtime per week; not including the basic wage

121.44 divided by 46 gives you her hourly base rate.
that rate x 1.5 x 4 = earnings for 4 hours at time and a half of her base rate

Why can't you do it your self?
Just divide £121.44 by 46
That will give you the hourly rate.
Then multiply the pay for 1 hour by 1.5 which will give you the hourly overtime rate.
Then multiply that by 4 to give you them amount she earned in overtime.
It is a 3 step question - no problem.

She normally makes 121.44/46 = £2.63/hour.
So fr overtime, she gets £3.95/hour.
So for 4 hours of overtime she gets 4*3.95 = £15.78.
