The problem is that sometimes there's either more then one best answer, or maybe there is no answer that the asker feels is worth rewarding, or perhaps the people who let if go to a vote do so because they ask a lot of questions and simply can't keep track of all of their open questions.

Maybe they think there is no best answer. This one question I asked, I only got a "?" in reply. It made me kind of annoyed that the user got 10 points for best answer when there wasn't an answer!

I try to.
Sometimes I'm to busy when the Qs expire. But I will vote.
Other times I get so many good answers, I can't decide.

sometimes i just forget to check and people r already voting. i doubt the people died unless it was a question about suicide.
