I have never done a scrapbook before...I noticed it is pretty popular to give as a present...
I know I can buy all the stuff at Michaels but I also have to print out all the pictures....
How much does it cost aprox. to make one?
I want to surprise my boyfriend....we are really in love and I think he would like it.....
Any ideas????

How about a small scrapbook made out of envelopes or paper lunch bags? They are very inexpensive to make! You can then buy a scrapbook paper kit (the ones that include the cardstock and matching papers and embellishments) to decorate it...then add pictures. The fact that the scrapbook is handmade makes it extra special! See links below for more ideas!

If you buy a scrapbook and some embellishments plus the pictures you are probably going to spend around $30 . ($10 for the book ,$10 for the "stuff" and $10 for the pictures). That's being conservative but he will appreciate it more if you really use some serious creativity in putting it all together. The more creative you are the more your $ will stretch!!!!!! Hope this helps---it's a really thoughtful thing to do for someone!

Guys don't usually go in for that sort of thing, but if you want to make one, it's just a photo album with added trimmings. You can also add programs to any events you attended, ticket stubs, candy wrappers. You can keep it simple ad add your own ribbons and shapes cut out of paper, or you can break the bank and add stickers and miniature toys and things. Most of the trims I have seen in craft stores can easily be made at home.
