They'll put Romney the Opportunist at the head of the list until Fred Thompson declares. Then they will drop Romney like a bad habit for Thompson. They're still going to have problems with Thompson though. He's so far right wing he'll drive out the Independents and moderates to Hillary's side of the aisle. They seem to be in a no-win situation.

Where Did Rudy go? I must have missed that 1? I agree that McCain isn't doing well & has limited appeal to the base, but there are also a lot of other candidates, Romney for example.

I think the Dems are in worse shape. Do you people realize that a poll ( I think it was US Today) said that 50% of the population would not, under any circumstance, vote for Hillary.

I think it's Mitt, Rudy or Fred.....any of these would crush Hill, Hussein or Madam Edwards.

If only the Republicans would figure this one out: get Ron Paul against the other Democratic contenders and there will actually BE A CHANCE FOR THEIR PARTY...

Dr. Ron Paul is the only Republican candidate that can defeat Hillary! If the GOP don’t nominate him they will loose big time.
