To clarify: I am used to seeing the local Fox sports broadcast of the Tiger's games and want to know if this is the same broadcast for Extra Innings or if they do their own broadcast with different announcers

It's local broadcasts, but you won't always get the Tigers feed. For any game, you've got about a 50% chance of getting your team's broadcast, though I notice that they do tend to show the home team's broadcast if it's available. That means that most of the time when you watch a Tigers home game you'll get the FSN Detroit broadcast, and most of the time you watch an away game you'll get the other team's broadcast.

usually it's the home broadcast sports network thats on EI, unless it's unavaible then they'll use the away network
