No way, the boys are gonna finish last in the division this year. Parcells is a coaching genuis, Its was just pure coaching that got that team in the playoffs last year. Without Bill the cowboys will be mediorce at best. Wade will be fired after this season.

The Dallas Cowboys most likely will be 9-7 or maybe 10-6 at best. Wade Phillips is a good defensive coach but he isn't that good of an offensive coach. Plus he will have his hands full with Terrell Owens this year.

When Parcells was coach, don't get me wrong he was a good coach, the defense was totally lacking and not aggressive at all. The Cowboys have too much talent on defense for parcells to run this "bend but don't break" style of D. Look for a way better pass rush leading to WAY more sacks and turnovers. As for offence Dallas is fine with 2 great WR 2 great RB an amazing TE. Good QB, decenct OL.

Don't be suprised if Dallas makes a Super Bowl run.

No. I'm a huge 'Boys fan and I'm afraid that he's not going to make them any better. Don't get me wrong though. They're a good team, who will make the playoffs, but Wade won't take them to the Super Bowl.

However, I think that he's a one year and done guy. Either Bill Cowher, John Fox or Marty Schottenheimer will be there the following year and Wade will go back to O-Coordinator or leave.

I predict 11-5 regular season. Win the first round game and get bounced in the following week. Which will be the first playoff game they've won in a decade!!!! That's so sad.

I don't think so. Remember, Wade Phillips has had shots at head coaching in the past and has failed (ZERO playoff wins). He is a great D coordinator, but doesn't have what it takes to head coach. He will inherit a good team, and what's sad is that's what people will base their opinions on. That's Parcells team, not Phillips'. I still think they have secondary problems (especially at safety). Roy Williams couldn't cover a receiver to save his life and who knows who will start at the other safety. Not to mention that this is a team whose players are complaining about how "tough" Parcells was on them and how much they like Wade already. That team needs discipline more than most, their players (especially TO) will walk all over Phillips...Meltdown.

To Sunsfan: please tell me who you mean by "2 great RB's, 2 great WR's and a decent OL??????????

Jones and Barber, although talented, are backups anywhere else. And don't let Barbers' touchdowns fool you, as most of them were scored from 5 yards or less....

TO and Glenn are aging...on the downside of their careers.

The OL is a complete mess, Larry Allen is a liability, but continues to play because of his rep.

The truth hurts. If you're looking for positives about "Mr. Mediocrity" Wade phillips...you won't get it here.

You're joking, right? The only reason Wade Phillips isn't the worst head coach ever is because Art Shell existed.

They will go backward. Phillips is a great coordinator, but average coach. The Cowboys need a QB and their draft this year was a disaster. Still, they have enough talent to be 8-8.

Parcells is too old and too old school to do ANYTHING in today's NFL. I like him, but good riddance.

As far as Phillips goes - He'll be here long enough to straighten the D up while Garrett gets the offense going. Garrett will be the coach in less then 3 years.

12-4, lose in the NFC Champ. game.

No way. Parcells may be the greatest coach of all time, and he worked miracles considering he relative dearth of talent on that team.

Dallas will have a rough year, and TO will work his magic to destroy what was left of the locker room, leaving the Cowboys a shell of the team that competed for the NFC East title last season.
