I think it was the most thoughtless decision related to the Answers pages "upgrade." If comments I noticed directly after the change are indicative, Yahoo! Answers users would rather have ready access to their favorite users' Best Answers list, than to questions that others selected for Stars.

For those that were not visiting Answers before the "upgrade" - prior to the layout (module) change, in the Profile page, there was a tab for a Best Answers folder. The Best Answers tab was replaced by the current, a Stars tab..

When a site upgrades, efficiency of space usage, user convenience, aesthetic, and no-hassle set-up for administrators are important considerations.
The Stars folder is for what purpose? - it'd be skewed toward those askers that want to admire how many of their questions others like.
What is the Best Answers list for? It is so that users perusing an answers' list, especially a long one, can check out answers of their favorite Q & A participants that get noted by others
Now there is under the My Answer tab a "best answers" list for cursor. The Stars category appears to have been given primacy, yet it is a layer that could be taking undue space; could be a waste of computer space and less convenient for the user.
All of my browsers show much wasted space on this detail page, the Profile page, and the Home page; to the likes of me, an expensive downgrade. I am quite certain the original conceivers of Yahoo! Answers would prefer efficiency and to construct for the users' convenience.
