I am a Law Enforcement officer and she assaulted me in front of friends.....Our law says when one is assaulted the suspect goes to jail no matter what. I tried but they took her and this has led to more fuel in the fire. I got a restraining order on her and kept my youngest. I called the Dad of the oldest since I don't have rights. Maybe I should go ahead and move on till she comes around if she ever does.

You may be in law enforcement but you are still subject to all the normal idiocracy existing in the world. People will be people no matter what. Has your soon-to-be ex had a medical checkup? Perhaps there is a medical reason for her behavior? Talk with somebody older and wiser and seek guidance. To me it sounds like it is time to move forward without her.

i hate to be your shoes. she has no right to be that way. i am not not the kind that would say divorce but maybe a sepration would do. just tell her that you don't wish to keep going through this and that all she is doing is teaching her kids that it is okay to be this way. maybe with you all gone from the house she will wise up and do thinking of her own. you have to keep your childs best instrest in mind. you sound like a good man. do this before you loose your cool. it could happen and you not mean to. best wishes

Yeah because look at you...your so worried aobut something you cannot control. I say move on...start the divorce or seperating papers or however that is done and move on...it will be her that wakes up and wonders why she did what she did.

so, you are splitting up the kids?

Ok, how is that in their best interests?

IS she crazy? Only you know that?

Can she be helped?

everything is fixable.. but hold your ground until she gets help..

just do not put the kids in the middle. they will grow up resenting you for splitting them and taking their mom away..
