I want to re-use jam jars but need to cover-up the writing on the lids - any ideas?

go to your local hardware store and find an employee and tell them you need some primer and paint for tin...... and they will show you what you need.

I wouldn't do it. It will just scrape off into the food. How about printing some stickers or using circles of fabric with a ribbon tied around it?

Can you maybe put a label over it? Design one on PSP or something, or do something free hand on the label.

you need to primer the metal first. they sell in in a spray can it can be bought at any local harware store, walmart,kmart, craft store menards home depot etc. have fun... :)
