Don't worry. If you're already married, what can they do?
AS long as you're happy and find yourself comfortable on your union, what's the big deal telling them or not? Tell them only when they ask. Don't bother to tell them if not ask. Simply don't make an issue unless they are going to be refusing him. If they do refuse him cause of the age difference, what will you do? I don't think you will div. for that. Just do what you've got to do and follow your desire. There might be a little confusion on your family side but they will understand at the end.

What's very strange about this large difference in age is that there is a communication problem in that as a person ages then their physical abilities will definitely show their age because their body capabilities will diminish and you won't be able to hide that from your parents any longer. You will notice that around age 70 or earlier. The other difference is that you are from the baby boomer age and he is from the silent generation age, two different thought levels. In another 6 years or less you will be taking him to the doctor's office and carrying your own packages up the stairs and quite possibly doing your own home maintenance. So the surprise will not be to your parents, but it will be to you. I suggest you get a network going with other wives. Whether or not your parents are older than your husband then it looks like you will be, at some point in your future life, being the caregiver to three people, not just two. Can you handle that?

Age is just a number that show how mature man is.Though people might think that your gaps is strange, however, what is more important is LOVE.He love you.Trust me...if you live a life with the one who really love you...then you will be happy til the end of your life. How to tell your parent?Em..apparently parents had a disease that i called "scare if their son-in-law same age with them or more".This is because they think too much about their children's future. However, you can use 'soft' way (etc: try to build intimate first then bring the guy and introduce to them-try to be more leisure)

Good Luck!!!REMEMBER Love is LIFE.

Age is only a #,im sure your parents will not care about his age if he is good to you and loves and respects you.He must look very young if they have not asked his age as of lately.I would just flat out tell them.Who cares anyway what they say or think if you love him.Good luck and be happy that you have found yourself a very mature man.

You're kidding, right? My husband's ex-wife, who is 38, is married to her dad's best friend now. He's 67, and believe me it's obvious. People mistakenly assume she is his daughter. If you really think your parents don't know there is an obvious age difference, you are fooling yourself.

Why not, they will get over it. It was a big shock when I told my mom that my girlfriend is 38 and I am 22. So you get used to it over time. Now they are friends because they have something in common. They love me!!.
