At work most of the internet is off limits, it's starting to get on my nerves especially since I sit and do nothing all day, is there anyway to get around some of these blocks?

My building has the same thing and I have never found a way around the filter system !
Some machines are not on the building network and don't have this problem - but I will not get on another person's computer at work !

Used to do it in high school, but don't remember how I did it (and I did a few other things then that may have caused them to lock down the administrative data - what kind of moron makes a database publicly available showing all the staff logins & passwords anyway?)

Haven't run into a single block at work, which is good as I use the internet for business research & reference A LOT.

nope and if u try, someone in the office will know. cause many offices use a main frame computer to which all other computers are linked into an internal network and it's the main frame that blocks unauthorized access to outside links. stick to sites that are allowed.

Where I work they have people who do nothing all day long except look at what the other employees are doing on the net.
If you get caught doing stuff that isn't work related, you are fired !

yes. find an honest job where they pay you for what you actually do, rather than stealing from them by doing what you want to on THIER time...after all, they are paying you for YOUR time.
