Yes. You would be giving up 60 SB's but with the RBI's from Jeter and Burrell, plus Jeter will make up for Burrell's .270 AVG at the end of the year. Jeter hit .343 last year with 17 HR's and 98 RBI and 34 SB's Reyes will not have that kind of AVG or that many RBI's but 30 more SB's. Burrell hit .257 last year with 29 HR's and 95 RBI's. Reyes hit 19 HR's 81 RBI and 64 SB's. As you can see you will be getting more HR's and RBI with Burrell and Jeter if they have similar years. Burrell is always good for 25+ HR and 80+ RBI but can be rather inconsistent at times and has a poor AVG. Jeter always seems to finish over .300 with good numbers and is hitting .360 something so far. If you need an OF this would be a good move. But if Burrell will most likely be kept on your bench, you should reconsider. Reyes is on pace for 90 RBI and 90 SB, something you will not get with Jeter. I as a Met fan would most likely keep Reyes because he is an all-around Amazing Player. But if I needed an OF Jeter will fill in pretty nicely in his absence. But if I did not.....NO WAY.

NO!!!! Pat Burrell will fade down the stretch, and Jeter is a good fantasy player, but not worth a top 10 pick in Reyes.

Do NOT make the trade. Jose Reyes is an absolute stat monster this year. He is in fact leading the league in total points. If on the other hand, you wanted to form an "actual" league team, Jeter would be on the top of MY list. Character, skills, and leadership are his undoubting qualities. However, from a fantasy sports POV, right now, this year, Reyes is the man!!!

No...No...No!!!!!! Reyes is the top fantasy producer this year period and Burrell will give you some pop but a brutal BA and not a ton of RBI. Jeter is solid but not a fantasy elite.....Reyes is better than these 2 combined plus you would need to dump someone else off your roster to make this deal work.....so it will cost you more than just Reyes...Dont do it!!!

Hell no. Burrell has been doing pretty well and Jeter is a solid player, but Reyes is fantasy gold. Don't trade him unless you get another top-notch performer in exchange.

depends on the other needs of your team are both going to be able to help you significantly at their positions. or are you going to be losing one of the better fantasy players and not improving your team at all. for me it sounds like a no just from the info you have posted.
