Politicians have the exact same health care as all other federal employees have.

So if you want it, then take a civil service test and go to work for the government.

They pay monthly premiums just like the 86% of Americans with health insurance do.

You are not a member of the elite. Politicians are.

The goal of the elite is to assure themselves of everything they could want, including power, while denying the same to you [after all, someone has to provide the excess the elite covet for themselves].

Don't believe me? Why does Al Gore's house consume 20 times the electricity of the average home in Tennessee? Why does John Edwards live in a 30,000 square foot mansion with enclosed, heated pool and gym?

Has Teddy Kennedy ever held an honest job [politics doesn't count]? Ever answered for his panic and abandonment of that girl who drowned? [Was he drunk at the time?]

The rules for the elites are that they get. The rules for you are that you do not. Now, why are you voting for them again?

I believe that politicians are over paid, over compensated, and do not represent the average American. They could not afford to give all Americans the same health care, it would break the nation.

Hypocrisy my Friend. The politicians seam to always vote themselves up raises too at their convenience. George Bush makes twice to what President Clinton made when he was in office. Under the current deficit, that was caused by the Bush Administrations policies, they will be receiving funding until they all die, and they are the riches Administration to step into the House to date. Our children's children will be paying their way decades to come too.

Why don't politicians have to pay for their own healthcare insurance like most of the rest of us. Maybe then they would be more motivated to do something to lower the cost.

You stole that line from Senator Obama. I personally want them to give me $400.00 haircuts.

Typical Liberal question...why isn't the government giving me something. Nothing is free... you must pay for everything you have. Get a job.
