No, I am not homophobic. Anyone who is homophobic is totally misguided, and any one proud to be so is either thinking that way through religious indoctrination or lack of understanding through ignorance. There are also the people who are simply afraid of what they do not understand, these people are not ignorant but simply lack an awareness of the true composition of the world as a whole, and as a result have a narrow minded view which they sadly pass to their children because they know no other way because they do not see a true picture of the whole of society.
I have known many people, gay and straight and we are all the same underneath. What differs is who we have sex with - at the end of the day, why should this matter, who people share intimacy with is their business, no one elses.
Something I'd like to share: There is a man in my life who Ive known since I was at school, and that was a long time ago now, almost twenty years. Through out my life, Ive had relationships with different kinds of guys, Ive had all the usual life experiences but I'll say this - not one man Ive ever met has come close to measuring up to him. He is kind, honest, he is funny, handsome, compassionate and he has risen above and overcome problems that would finish off most people, he has overcome those things with courage and determination and he is a true survivor and I have immense love and admiration for him. He is the true definition of a real man, he's everything a man should be. I was engaged to him once. I'd get engaged to him again if he ever wanted to! He is a rare and exceptional person who Im proud to call a friend and I love him from the bottom of my heart, more in some ways than Ive loved some of my former partners...And by the way, he's gay.
Peoples sexualities are their own business. We should judge people for who they are and what they do and how they touch our lives and hearts. Who they sleep with is no one elses business but their's!
Thats my say on the matter.

This is contentious, because disagreeing with anything gay these days, especially in a public forum leads to trouble. I don't think 2 men should have sex, and I have the right to believe that. I have a family memeber who is gay, and he is one of the best people I know, so I would not be homophobic, but I believe homosexuality is wrong.

why would anybody be afraid of a person. i mean, i can understand if they are a murderer but a gay person is not any different from a straight person except that guys like guys or girls like girls. anyone who is a homophobic doesnt deserve to be here.

if you're actually not fascinated or dislike the gay way of existence, that's effective. you do not ought to consider it because we are all entitled to our own critiques, no? yet in case you want to criminalize homosexuality or brazenly discriminate hostile to gay human beings, then you are a bigot. and that couldn't some thing to be pleased with.

I am not homophobic and have friends that are gay but I believe that it is sinful and unnatural. At the same time, I know that I am also a sinner and God doesn't like my sins either. It doesn't stop gays or me from being nice people.

I have loads of gay and bi friends. They are more interesting.

A study proved that a lot of homophobic people are actually hiding their gay intentions or that they aren't comfortable with their sexuality.
