It's about some teenage boy who's ex-girlfriend is murdered and he goes through the high school's underworld to solve the murder. It's similar to detective movies in the 30s but more youth orientated, so almost like the Hardy Boys for older teens I guess you could say.

It's a modern day film noir set in a high school where a student tries to solve the murder of a girl. Think Humphrey Bogart in "Maltese Falcon".

It is a very good movie. Maybe the best indie movie ever. Go watch it.
