To be honest, not really. Don't get me wrong the robes as you said is sort of like they're wizard trademark, but I think that if they were to have them on ALL the time everywhere they go it would be kind of strange. The robes in a certain way is more like part of their school uniform. Though I think that in the movies they should keep it balanced, one moment with their everyday clothes and the other with their robes. Interesting question though, I had never thought about that!

I guess the people behind the movies doesn't want monotony so off with the robes! But it's bothering come to think of it. There were a lot of scenes in the books that I would have love to see in the movies, but alas, no. They'd better include the scene where Fred & George left Hogwarts with a bang in the Order of the Phoenix movie!!!

I like the books more than the movies, but it doesn't bother me when they change things for the movies. It's just something that has to be done. When you read the books, it works in your head for them all to be wearing robes all of the time, but I don't think it would work so well on screen.

It definitley bothers me to, like in the fourth movie when all the girls wore fancy dresses to the Yule Ball instead of dress robes like in the book, but I'm more concerned with the plot than with what they're wearing

Yeah and they wear jeans and T-shirts all the time. Actually nothing is worn under the robe, except undies. But it must be cold on location.

I am more disturbed by the information they cut out of the movies that was in the book. Little things even. Like the fact that Ron's brother rescued Hagrids Dragon in the first book but in the movie Hagrid said that Dumbledore arranged for it to be sent to Romania. And because of that there was no reference to Ron's brother taking the dragon when he showed up in the Goblet of Fire movie.

have confidence me you at the instant are not the only one that observed this! It has afflicted Potter followers throughout! yet Radcliffe became 11 while he started filming, he became too youthful to positioned on lenses because it aggravated his eyes, so as that they only made his and Lily's eyes blue! additionally it bothers me that the greater youthful Lily Potter has black/dark brown eyes on a similar time as the older one has Blue eyes, it counts for discontinuity, something Yates could have thought approximately till now casting youthful Lily interior the reminiscence!

Yea, I am, cuz they're suppose to be wizards who don't usually wear muggle clothes. Like in the 4th book, the wizard guy was wearing that muggle skirt or dress or something. They're not suppose to wear muggle clothes at a wizarding school.
