My riding lawn mower just quit and will not turn over.?

I ran over a medium sized stick and the mower stopped. I tried to restart, but it would not turn.

Your problem could be a number of things.
1.If the blade jammed you could broke a shaft key on the engine shaft or the blade shaft.
2. You could bent the crankshaft.
3.Something could still be jammed under the deck.
Its really hard to tell you whats wrong without being there but go through everything and make sure nothing is out of place.Check oil,gas,safety switches,spark plug and just a general look over.

Make sure that you disengaged the mower deck.
