I have only shot clay ducks but im too soft to shoot anything else! haha What about you?

Many times, target shooting happens to be a hobby of mine. My Smith & Wesson .357 gets lots of use but only for the good of mankind.

Yes, I've fired a gun! This was years ago, but I found out after work one day driving home that there was this shooting gallery. I'd never even held a gun before, and the guy showed me how to hold the gun, and shoot at the paper targets- and I was so terrible at it! :o( But it was sort of funny, and I got a lot of my aggressions out -. It surprised me- the heaviness of the handgun and the way I sort of jumped when I hit the target. I felt like Clarice Starling in "Silence Of The Lambs" with my earphones and shooting the targets like she did in the FBI. Clay ducks would be really fun; you'd get some sort of gratification when they shattered. I couldn't shoot a person though- unless they were going to hurt me or someone I loved. Good question.

When I was younger I used to hunt quite a bit. Mostly small game(squirrels, rabbits). But my grandpa always sent me out when I was little, like 5 or 6 to shoot the starlings that would eat the grain in his barn. I wish I had a place to hunt now actually. It'd be better than sitting here on Y!As all day.

I used to own a 9mm Stainless Steel Barreta SL2. The only time I used it was in a firearm safety class and target practicing. Then later I sold it. Where I come from, you only need a concealed weapons permit, if the weapon is concealed. If you're in the public without a permit, it must be out at all times.

i like the power of firearms esp of the magnums.. I have never shot at anything but targets, truth is I have terrible homocidal type road rage and am quite certain that I would have no problem blowing some tailgater away in the heat of anger so I wisely, for MY OWN desire to continue living in the freeworld ,do not own a firearm at present

Yes. I stopped hunting about 12 years ago when I realized the animals looked better alive. I still own guns and target shoot when I get the chance (which isn't very often).

Ive fired many guns...many times. I have shot rabbits, deer, antelope, and also clay pigeons. I wouldnt hesitate to shoot an intruder too.*

I have shot a rifle, a 30/06. I was hunting with my Daddy. I got a doe. I would never do it again, and I won't eat venison to this day.

I have never shot anything with a real gun. I only play around witn my brother with bb guns.
