On the weekend my family wakes up before I do. I'm the sleepy head that sleeps until 11:00 on the weekends. So by the time I wake up everybody has already taken a shower, or someone is in the shower using the rest of the hot water up.

My sister just used up the last of the hot water, I would like to take a shower. Also be aware that our water tank thing that provides the water is as big as we come. When they replaced our water tank they said that was as big as they get. Their was no water tank larger. So how long do you guys think it will take for the hot water to heat up?

go lay back down and take another nap, by the time you wake up teh water will be hot again. Or else answer questions til you dont have any more to answer, then the water will be hot.

(Hopefully you arent in the bracket that has unlimited answers yet, or else you might be a stinky guy by the time you are done)

if it is a gas hot water tank the water should be heating up as its being used....if it's electric ...45 min to an hour for a 40 gallon tank.
