Sometimes i feel as if it is, but then the other person finally has some love and just wants other things.

Thirty years old and still longing to find
The girl of my dreams, the one that is mine
I've been to the parties, the bars and the parks
I've given my money, my time and my heart
I thought it was this one, or that one, or her
But then afterall, I wasn't so sure
So where is this angel that God sent for me
The one that they said, we'd know when we meet
Did I miss her, did I know her, Is fate really true
Or did He forget about mine when he sent one to you
Or maybe she's coming a little bit late
Maybe awaiting the appropriate date
So what do I do, just wait 'til I'm old
Sleep in this bed all my life all alone
Or do I just settle for the first pretty girl
That smiles real big when I give her a twirl
A cozy warm bed seems easier to me
Even though she's not quite who I thought she would be
It all seems so hard, I can't get it straight
I'm tired of waiting for the hands of fate
I guess the stars know more than I'll ever see
I guess I'll just leave it to the powers that be
I hope I'm not busy the day that she comes
I don't think I will be if she's really the one
I believe that this waiting will be worth the time

And yes, Love has found me a few times. Its found me depressed, discouraged, unsure of myself... and it drug me out to a dark alley and beat me down and then stole what little dignity I had left and left me lay there to die. I know what it looks like this time, though. It won't get me again

i came across it and then had to work for it a bit. met through mutual friends he's a few years older then me so took no notice at hte time becasue i was not of age. a couple years later we ended up at a movie with some friends together and he was even hotter then i remembered. lol i made sure we saw each other again. now we're engaged ( to make a much longer story short) :-) .

Yes, when youre not looking for it! If you look for it, then it wont happen! Every guy who has ever been special has come to me when Im not looking! Love can take you by surprise.

I am in hiding (for now)
love happens when you least expect it
arent looking for it
but you have to be willing to put yourself "out there" in order for it to happen
