I' making a power point about equilateral triangles and I want to show that the angle is 60 degrees, but I don't know how to make the sign.......can any of y'all help??

Try looking for it in Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Character Map.

Try pressing ALT+0176 to make the degree symbol °.

The character map is useful in finding out what ALT+number makes the symbol you want, especially those you can't find on the keyboard. = )

By the way, ALT+0176 gives °and ALT+0186 gives º.

Hold down the ALT key and type 0186 on the number pad.

That's ALT+0186 º

On a Mac it's Option+0 both keys
I'll bet that Alt + 0 would do it on a PC?

While you are in the text box that yo want the degree symbol in, go to the tool bar and select Insert, then select "symbol". Look for the degree symbol, it is there. Click on it, then close the sybol box. Then you will see the the degree symbol will be inserted into your text box.
