Car won't start. Have grounded it to the block, and took jumper cables and grounded it, but isn't working. Is there a specific place it needs to be grounded? Thanks

You should get a new cable, then reconnect to the block and clean the battery cables and make sure the place you install the cable to the engine is clean and free of paint.

i own a repair shop,an yes there is a place that it goes to,there should be a heavy ground wire, and then a thinner one,one goes strait to the body of the car and then off of it to the engine, the body has to be grounded as well as the engine also,i own a sentra ,and they actually have about 15 ground points on the whole car,and all of them are needed, look it over real good you,ll find where they go,good luck with it,

look to see where that ground cable from the battery is going. sometime's they go to different places. and the engine should be grounded to frame somewhere, and the batt.cable to maybe the frame to, and check the batt. if it is not reading at least 12 volts it won't start engine..but trace out where that ground wire from the batt.is going and put it back in the same spot.there should be some of it left to see...and if's its broke gota have new one.the ground is everything on these vehicles nowadays.

Make sure it is grounded under a bolt in the block.
