When adjusting my LCD monitor, I used to have an image that consisted of black and white dots that would take up the entire screen. Using that image, I would be able to push the auto-calibrate button on my monitor and it would use the image to calibrate the screen to a clear, viewable setting. I have since lost such an image. Does anyone know where I can get that image, if not a comparable one? Does anyone else use a similiar method to auto-calibrate their monitors?

What the monitor is looking for is a lot of single pixel wide vertical lines or dots so that it can work out where to sample the analog signal to get the best picture.

A full screen of text is reasonably good. A screen full of 'H's in a small point font is excellent.
