Yes I am happy. It's because all these big shot celebrities think they can get away with stuff like drunk driving just because they're famous. I'm glad they're making an example of her because maybe that will cause people to think before they get behind the wheel of a car all intoxicated. No one should ever drink and drive. It's just plain wrong. If you do drink, for god sakes call a sober friend and ask them to take you home or call a cab.
Take Care,
Cindy

Happy ?I think this is so strong an emotion to waste on her.all I know is that society Must not stand by while the rich run rough shod over the rest of us.any where in this country the so called ordinary Joe would be in jail on his second offense.Laws are made to protect man.Too many people have lost their lives because of people like Paris Hilton Drunk driving is a Crime and I for one shed no tear for her.

I am happy too!~but I think she is getting half of the jail time that she is supposed to get which isn't right at all I mean the worst hasn't come yet for her or anyone,I mean she could end up kiling someone and then how would everyone feel?

Lets just say that money can talk and buy your way outta things.

Celebrities have been let off the hook easy all the time. It's nice to see Paris doing some time like the rest of the people who break the laws.

I'm happy that she's going to jail.

She is a danger to society because she chooses to drive drunk. Fortunately, she has not killed your mother or sister yet, or my family.

Perhaps jail will be the wake up call that will make her see that she is dangerous and that the next drunk driving episode could be the one that sends her to prison for the rest of her miserable life.

Yeah! Not just a part of me, either!
Why should she be treated differently from everyone else just because shes rich and has her face all over the magazines. She's not famous because she's done anything decent.
It serves her right for thinking she can get away with anything just because of who she is!!!

Her life is a sad little rich girl tale. I am neither happy nor sad. I am glad to see justice is being served in L.A. after so many high profile cases going wrong.
