Yeah. Sad thing was that he would have been an all time great regardless of the steroids. I'd put him right up there with Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio. Then in 1998 he just went insane. Jose Canseco, Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa, Palmeiro, they needed the steriods to become great ballplayers. Bonds had his mentor, Willie Mays AKA The Best All Around Baseball Player Ever. If he had played to 45, he could have had 600 homeruns and 800 stolen bases. He would have at least 550/550. Hall of Famer, but Barry was just too jealous for his own good.

Wow im surprised how many people bonds has let test him and given his medical records to! You guys cant say an affirmative yes until you get some cold hard proof. And no, looking at the size of his neck is not proof. However im not naive enough to think there is no way he didnt do steroids. It is likely but cant be answered with a conclusive yes.

Steroids or human growth hormone (HGH), take your pick. I think the difference is semantics only. He might be able to say that he "did not knowingly take steroids", because he has been taking HGH all along and the two are technically different. The sorry side of this whole mess is that he would probably have made the Hall of Fame without artificial means.

here are some #'s for you

his hat size grew from 71/4 in to 71/2 in even though he started shaving his head

jersey size went from 42 to 52

the most rediculous sounding of all was his shoe size. it went from about 10 or 10 1/2 to 13 1/2

thaty can only happen with hgh

There is overwhelming evidence that he's used a variety of prohibited performance-enhancing drugs, steroids among them.

Since you don't seem to trust your own eyes, perhaps you can trust the stats. The dividing point of his numbers is after the '98 season. No one changes that dramatically without injected help.
