I know a lot of people find foot fetishes gross, but I don't see why. Feet aren't inherently gross- you can wash them, you know. Not to mention that they can't be much grosser than our actual genitals, from which urine and menstrual blood come out of and which can get quite stinky themselves when aroused (not that we don't love that stink, of course!). Not to mention that many people love feet namely because of the smell- it's like pure, raw, concentrated essence of someone. For someone who keeps their feet clean, dry, and wears the right shoes, the smell you get is that of clean sweat (which has those wonderful pheremones that get us feeling all woozy and hot).
I don't know what might be the catalyst for a foot fetish, but then again, I'm not quite sure why any body part is really fetishized. Breasts? What's so great about breasts? You know? Feet can be pretty dang sexy (ever seen a delicious pair of heels with a gorgeous, slender, feminine foot with pretty, tiny red toenails?), and, moreover, they really can be pretty sexual- there are a lot of nerve endings in the feet, some of which directly hook up to the genitals, if you stimulate them right.
I don't have a foot fetish myself (I don't think), but I do love people who do . . . can you imagine the joy of being turned on by something so simple? How awesome that is, because people are literally walking around with their feet in plain sight everywhere! I find it fascinating.

Because the feet and genitals are in adjacent spots on the mapping of the body on the brain's surface, so neurological crosstalk can make a person react to feet as they would to genitalia.
And as for the "smelly" thing, it's called washing your damn feet. It's not that hard. And it's certainly not as "gross" as a place that bodily fluid comes from should be considered to be. As you see, how "gross" something looks on paper really means nothing in the face of sexual attraction.

I have wondered about it,oddly enough..=)
I also wonder if most of them are into the shoe world,like selling or designing them,or maybe a Podiatrist Dr. so they could have access to their fetish 24/7....ponderous isn't it? =)
