Uh, obviously this is another case of female maturity syndrome. Women mature quicker than men-PROVEN FACT! Apparently, he's one of the ones who is yet to matture. Wait a few years before you try again.

It sounds as if he is too immature for any sort of dating right now. You have to realize that girls mature much faster than boys. It is best to keep your crushes as secrets for a few more years.
